NATIONAL TOP OF PRIVATE COMPANIES IN ROMANIA

In the fall of 1993, for the first time in Romania, CNIPMMR organised an event consisting of the classification of small, medium and large sized private firms, called National TOP of Private Companies. Ever since its' first edition, this event proved to be a great success, CNIPMMR making the TOP into the most important yearly event of private entrepreneirs.

The event has as main aim stimulating the most efficient firms from the gross profit point of view and also those that had great results through creating a large number of new jobs, investing for developing local comunity, promoting performant technologies in SMEs.

The classifications are made based on the information offered by the Ministry of Public Finances. This database contains the financial results of all Romanian private companies that submitted their balance sheet at tbe financial administration.

The success of this event was amplified by the specia awards granted by UEAPME and WASME to the entrepreneurs with special results in different fields of activity.

NATIONAL FORUM OF SMEs

The National Forum of SMEs, organised by CNIPMMR has as main objectives: to analyse the politic, economic, social, institutional and juridical context in Romania and its impact on SMEs, to assess the SMEs situation and to reveal the main problems that SMEs are facing, ackowledging and using the international experience in the field of SMEs.

Before the National Forum there are the regional forums organised by CNIPMMR branches. The Forum's debates take place in plenary sessions and breakout sessions, to which professionals from Romania and abroad participate.

By a Government decision, in 1992, it was settled that the last Sunday of May is

"THE PRIVATE ENTREPRENEURS' DAY".

CNIPMMR organises every year, at the end of May, a big event with hundreads of guests, most of them private entrepreneurs, but also representatives of governmental and non-governmental organisms which can participate at the development of private sector, at the establishment of an actual market economy

ENTREPRENEURS' DAY 2003 took place in Galati, and the event was organised with the kind help of CNIPMMR branch from this city.

In 2002, on the occasion of Entrepreneurs' Day, CNIPMMR celebrated its' 10th Anniversary.
